Effect of Multiple Intermittent Cold Light Source Phototherapy on Neonatal Jaundice
Objective:To investigate the effect of multiple intermittent cold light source phototherapy on neonatal jaundice.Method:79 children with neonatal jaundice admitted to the hospital from July 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method.39 cases in the continuous group and they were given continuous cold light source phototherapy.40 cases in the intermittent group and they were given multiple intermittent cold light source phototherapy. The treatment effect, disease progression, jaundice index, bilirubin level, blood cell changes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:There was no difference in the comparation of total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The yellow turn of fetal stool,TBIL decreased to normal, jaundice subsided and hospital stay in intermittent group were lower than those in continuous group(P<0.05).The jaundice index of intermittent group was lower than that of continuous group after 24h,48h and 72h treatment(P<0.05).After 72h of treatment,TBIL in intermittent group was lower than that in continuous group(P<0.05),but there was no difference in IBIL and DBIL between the two groups(P>0.05).After 72h of treatment,Hb,RBC and PLT decreased in both groups, but the intermittent group was higher than the continuous group(P<0.05).The adverse reactions in intermittent group were less than those in continuous group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with neonates with jaundice treated by continuous cold light source, multiple intermittent light therapy is more effective in improving the symptoms of high TBIL and jaundice, can accelerate the outcome of the disease, and has less effect on blood cells, and has higher treatment safety.
