Survey on Fear of Disease Recurrence in Postoperative Cervical Cancer Patients and Analysis of the Influencing Factors and Coping Measures
Objective:To explore the investigation of fear of disease recurrence in postoperative patients with cervical cancer and its influencing factors,and to develop targeted countermeasures.Method:85 cervical cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in Putian College Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects.All patients received baseline information and the Fear of Disease Progression Simplified Scale(FoP-Q-SF)survey.Linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of fear of disease recurrence in postoperative cervical cancer patients.Result:The FoP-Q-SF scores of 85 cervical cancer patients ranged from 28 to 51,with a mean score of(36.80±4.67)points.The FoP-Q-SF scores of patients with junior high school and below,unhealthy family functioning,low level of self-efficacy,and low health literacy were higher than those of patients with high school and above,healthy family functioning,high level of self-efficacy,and adequate health literac.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Linear regression analysis showed that literacy,family functioning,self-efficacy and health literacy pairs were the factors influencing the fear of disease recurrence in postoperative cervical cancer patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:The level of fear of disease recurrence is relatively high in postoperative cervical cancer patients,and literacy,family functioning,self-efficacy and health literacy pairs are influential factors in the fear of disease recurrence in postoperative cervical cancer patients.
