Effect of Edaravone Injection on Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To investigate the effect of edaravone injection in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.Method:94 patients with acute cerebral infarction admittted to the Second People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into a control group and a study groups, with 47 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment, and the study group received edaravone injection on the basis of this. The comparison indexes included endothelin-1 level, high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)level,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)level, activity of daily living, neurological function deficit score, clinical efficacy, neurogenic injury index[neuron-specific enolase(NSE),pentagliner3(PTX3),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)),lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2)].Result:After treatment, the levels of endothelin-1,hs-CRP and NIHSS score in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of VEGF and Barthel index were higher, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,NSE,PTX3 and Lp-PLA in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and IGF-1 was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of Edaravone injection in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction patients can not only improve the indexes of neurogenic injury, inflammatory factors and neurological function deficits in the body, but also improve the clinical efficacy and the improvement of life activities of patients, which has a high application value.
