Study on the Diagnostic Accuracy of Molybdenum Target X-ray and Breast Ultrasound in Early Breast Cancer Patients with calcification
Objective:To explore the application value of mammography and breast ultrasound in the diagnosis of early breast cancer with calcification.Method:82 female patients with breast cancer admitted to Fuding City Hospital in Fujian Province from January 2019 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects, who received molybdenum target X-ray examination and breast ultrasound examination to explore pathological results and diagnostic effectiveness of detection methods.Result:The surgical pathological results of 82 patients showed that 70 cases had calcification, and as the number of calcifications increased, the probability of malignancy increased.Among them,rod-shaped calcification was the main manifestation, and most of them were distributed as clustered calcifications.Using pathological examination results as the gold standard, molybdenum target X-ray examination results diagnosed 60 cases of calcification,4 cases of no calcification,8 cases of false negative, and 10 cases of false positive. There were 29 cases of calcification detected by breast ultrasound,6 cases of no calcification,6 cases of false negative, and 6 cases of false positive. The sensitivity of molybdenum target X-ray is 85.71%,and the accuracy is 78.05%,which is significantly higher than that of breast ultrasound at 41.43%and 42.68%(P<0.05),respectively.There was no significant difference in the comparison of specificity and predicted values of yin and yang(P>0.05).Conclusion:Molybdenum target X-ray examination has a good diagnostic efficacy for whether calcification occurs in early breast cancer.Combining with breast ultrasound examination,it can help diagnose false negative lesions, improve the accuracy of examination, provide rich imaging diagnostic basis for follow-up diagnosis and treatment of patients, and can be further popularized in clinical use.
