Observation on the Effect of Orthopaedic Massage Combined with Wenyang tongluo Acupuncture in the Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation
Objective:To investigate the effect of orthopedic bone massage combined with Wenyang tongluo acupuncture quality lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Method:106 patients with LDH admitted to the hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were divided into a control group and a research group by applying the random number table method,with 53 cases in each group.The patients of control group were treated with massage for bone orthopedics,while the patients of research group were treated with orthopedic bone massage combined with Wenyang tongluo acupuncture.The clinical efficacy,the score of the Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA),the Oswestry Dysfunction Index(ODI),the visual analogue score of pain(VAS)Inflammatory factors[interleukin-17(IL-17),interleukin-22(IL-22),interleukin-27(IL-27)],and nociceptive factors[prostaglandin-E2(PGE2),5-hydroxytryptophan(5-HT),phospholipase A2(PLA2)]were compared between the two groups.Result:The clinical efficacy of the study group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,JOA increased,ODI and VAS decreased in both groups,and JIA was higher,ODI and VAS were lower in the study group than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,IL-17,IL-22 and IL-27 were reduced in both groups,and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,PGE2,5-HT and PLA2 were reducing in both groups,and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:LDH patients receiving orthopaedic massage combined with Wenyang tongluo acupuncture treatment can improve the pain-causing dysfunction,inhibit the release of pain factors and inflammatory factors,alleviate pain,and promote the recovery of lumbar spine function.
