Application Effect of Ezetimibe Combined with Lipid-regulating Therapy in Patients with Cerebral Infarction Complicated with Obesity
Objective:To explore the effect of Ezetimibe combined with lipid-regulating therapy in patients with cerebral infarction and obesity.Method:A total of 108 patients with cerebral infarction complicated with obesity admitted to Bozhou District People's Hospital of Zunyi City from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 54 patients in each group. The control group was treated with lipid-regulating therapy, and the observation group was treated with Ezetimibe on this basis. The levels of relevant adipokines, lipid metabolism indexes[total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),triglycerides(TG)],National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS),modified Rankin scale(mRS),and activities of daily living(ADL)were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, the lipid metabolism indexes and adipokine levels in the observation group were better than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,mRS scores and NIHSS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and ADL scores were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with cerebral infarction complicated with obesity, the use of lipid-regulating drugs combined with Ezetimibe can effectively improve the abnormal fat metabolism and adipokine levels of patients, repair damaged nerves, improve limb function and coordination, and the clinical effect is significant.
