Three-dimensional Reconstruction of 64-row Spiral CT in the Diagnosis of Occult Rib Fractures
Objective:To investigate the value of three-dimensional reconstruction of 64-row spiral CT in the diagnosis of occult rib fractures.Method:A total of 150 patients with suspected occulted rib fracture admitted to Tongren Second People's Hospital from January 2022 to August 2023 were selected. All patients underwent 64-slice spiral CT examination and three-dimensional reconstruction, clinical comprehensive diagnosis was used as the gold standard, the detection and diagnostic value of occulted rib fractures were counted, and Kappa test was used to verify different methods for diagnosing occulted rib fractures consistency with the gold standard.Result:In 150 suspected patients,109 cases were confirmed by the gold standard,of these,108 cases were confirmed by three-dimensional reconstruction of 64-row spiral CT,the positive rate was 99.08%(108/109),conventional CT plain confirmed 104 cases, the positive rate was 95.41%(104/109).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value of three-dimensional reconstruction of 64-row spiral CT were higher than conventional CT plain, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Kappa test showed that,CT three-dimensional reconstruction diagnosis and gold standard was 0.950,with high consistency. The Kappa value of conventional CT plain scan diagnosis and gold standard was 0.790,which was in high consistency.Conclusion:Three-dimensional reconstruction of 64-row spiral CT has high diagnostic value in concealed rib fracture, which can improve the accuracy of diagnosis, facilitate the early detection of concealed fracture, realize targeted treatment, and better improve the patient's condition.
