Predictive Value of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 on Prognosis of Elderly Patients with Severe Pneumonia
Objective:To investigate the predictive value of angiotensin-2(Ang-2),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-8(IL-8)on prognosis of elderly patients with severe pneumonia.Method:A total of 95 elderly patients with severe pneumonia treated in Jian'ou Municipal Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected. The levels of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 were detected in all patients. All patients were grouped. The grouping condition was analyzed. The levels of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 were compared between the two groups. The prognostic influencing factors of senile patients with severe pneumonia was analyzed. The predictive value of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 on prognosis in elderly patients with severe pneumonia was analyzed.Result:Among 95 elderly patients with severe pneumonia followed up for 3 months,27 died and were included in the poor prognosis group,68 survived and were included in the good prognosis group, and the incidence of poor prognosis was 28.42%(27/95).The levels of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).logistic regression analysis showed that Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 were prognostic influencing factors in elderly patients with severe pneumonia(P<0.05).The area under curve(AUC)values of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 in predicting prognosis of elderly patients with severe pneumonia were 0.937,0.899 and 0.944 respectively, all of which had certain predictive value. The AUC values of the combination of Ang-2,IL-6 and IL-8 were higher(0.992),and their sensitivity and specificity were 0.963 and 0.971.Conclusion:The detection of serum Ang-2,IL-6,and IL-8 expression has certain predictive value for the prognosis of elderly patients with severe pneumonia, and the combined detection has higher predictive value.
