Application of Facial Massage Combined with Facial Muscle Rehabilitation Training in Rehabilitation Nursing of Patients with Peripheral Facial Paralysis
Objective:To explore the application of facial massage combined with facial muscle rehabilitation training in the rehabilitation nursing of patients with peripheral facial paralysis.Method:A total of 76 patients with peripheral facial paralysis who received treatment in Heze Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2020 to October 2023 were selected,and they were divided into rehabilitation group(n=38)and comparison group(n=38)according to the random dice method.The patients in the comparison group were intervened with facial massage training method,while the patients in the rehabilitation group were trained by facial massage combined with facial muscle rehabilitation training.The facial nerve function[House-Brackmann facial nerve rating system(H-B)scale],systemic facial nerve(Sunnybrook facial nerve score)before and after intervention,intervention effect and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result:Before intervention,there was no significant difference in H-B scale scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,the H-B scale scores of both groups were significantly higher than those before intervention,and the scores of the rehabilitation group were significantly higher than those of the comparison group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistical significance in Sunnybrook score between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,Sunnybrook scores of both groups groups were significantly increased compared with those before intervention,and the score of the rehabilitation group was significantly higher than that of the comparison group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The intervention effect of the rehabilitation group was significantly better than that of the comparison group,and the total effective rate of the rehabilitation group was significantly higher than that of the comparison group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the satisfaction degree of the rehabilitation group was significantly better than that of the comparison group,and the total satisfaction degree of the rehabilitation group was significantly higher than that of the comparison group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Facial massage combined with facial muscle rehabilitation training can effectively enhance the facial nerve function and systemic facial nerve of patients with peripheral facial paralysis,effectively improve the clinical symptoms and improve the satisfaction.
