Effect of Non-language Communication Combined with Motivational Psychological Intervention on Children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Objective:To explore the effect of non-language communication combined with motivational psychological intervention on children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.Method:A total of 80 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University,School of Medicine,Xiamen University from November 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects by convenience sampling method,they were divided into the observation group(n=40)and the control group(n=40)according to the random number table method.The control group was given routine nursing measures,and the observation group was given non-language communication combined with motivational psychological intervention on the basis of the control group,two groups were intervened for 3 months.The cancer-related fatigue,psychological resilience and post-traumatic growth levels of two groups before and after intervention were evaluated,the treatment compliance and compliance behavior of children in two groups after intervention were evaluated.Result:Before intervention,there were no significant differences in the cancer-related fatigue,psychological resilience and post-traumatic growth levels between two groups(P>0.05);after intervention,the cancer-related fatigue degree in two groups were decreased,the psychological resilience and post-traumatic growth levels were increased,and those in the observation group were better than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the treatment compliance and compliance behavior scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Non-language communication combined with motivational psychological intervention can reduce the cancer-related fatigue degree and improve the psychological resilience,post-traumatic growth,treatment compliance and compliance behavior of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
