Effect of Shenqi Dihuang Decoction on Patients with Chronic Glomerulonephritis
Objective:The effect of Shenqi Dihuang soup on patients with chronic glomerulonephritis was observed.Method:81 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis with deficiency of qi and Yin admitted to Taining County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.According to different treatment methods,40 cases in the observation group were given Shenqi Dihuang decoction plus or minus treatment,while 41 cases in the control group were given conventional Western medicine treatment.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed,and the renal function indexes[blood creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),24 h urinary protein quantification(24 h-Upro),urinary microalbumin(MALB)],and the level of immune function indicators[immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin G(IgG),T lymphocyte CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+],serum inflammatory factors[interleukin6(IL-6),interleukin8(IL-8),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)]were observed.Result:The total effective rate of was 95.00%in the observation group,which was significantly higher than that 78.05%in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the comparison of the levels of BUN,Scr,MALB,24 h-Upro,IgA,IgG,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,IL-6,IL-8 and hs-CRP between the two groups(P>0.05).The levels of BUN,Scr,MALB,24 h-Upro,IgA,CD8+,IL-6,IL-8,and hs-CRP were lower in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).IgG,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+were higher in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Shenqi Dihuang decoction has remarkable therapeutic effect on chronic glomerulonephritis of Qi-Yin deficiency type.It can not only improve renal function and immune function index,but also reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors.
