The Effect of Modified Sijunzi Decoction as an Adjunctive Treatment for Patients with Chronic Gastritis
Objective:To explore the effect of Sijunzi decoction in the treatment of chronic gastritis.Method:A total of 86 patients with chronic gastritis admitted to Taining County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2019 to April 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with quadruple therapy, while the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with Sijunzi decoction on the basis of quadruple therapy. The clinical efficacy, gastric mucosal secretion function, intestinal flora structure and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Result:The effective rate of treatment in the traditional Chinese medicine group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of gastrin(GAS),nitric oxide(NO),and gastric mucosal prostaglandin 2(PGE2)in the traditional Chinese medicine group were higher than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The content of various bacterial phyla in the traditional Chinese medicine group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of nausea or vomiting in the traditional Chinese medicine group was lower than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of other adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusion:Sijunzi decoction is effective in chronic gastritis patients, and it can enhance the regulation of intestinal flora abundance in patients,so as to promote the recovery of gastric mucosal secretion function, with relatively few adverse reactions and high drug safety.
