Effects of Lupatadine Fumarate Combined with Compound Glycyrrhizin on Activity,Pruritus Symptoms and Serum IgE,SAA and IFN-γ Levels in Patients with Chronic Urticaria
Objective:To investigate the effects of the combination of fumarate and compound glycyrrhizin on activity, itching symptoms, serum immunoglobulin E(IgE),serum amyloid A(SAA),and Interferon-γ levels in patients with chronic urticaria.Method:Eighty patients with chronic urticaria who visited the hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group, with 40 cases in each groups. The control group was treated with lupatadine fumarate tablets, while the treatment group was treated with lupatadine fumarate combined with compound glycyrrhizic acid glycoside. After one month of treatment, the urticaria activity score(UAS),itching symptom score, serum IgE,SAA,and IFN-γwere compared between the two groups of patients.Result:After treatment, the score of urticaria activity in both groups of patients decreased compared with those before treatment, and the score of patients in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the itching symptom scores of the two groups of patients decreased compared with those before treatment, and the symptom scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the serum IgE and SAA levels of both groups of patients decreased compared with those before treatment,The level of IFN-γ increased compared with those before treatment, and the changes in the above indicators in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of lupatadine fumarate and compound glycyrrhizic acid glycoside in the treatment of chronic urticaria can effectively improve urticaria activity and itching symptoms in patients, and play an important role in the immunopathological mechanism of patients.
