Effect of Shenmai Injection on Immune Function and Fatigue Score in Patients with Postoperative Adjuvant Chemotherapy for Colorectal Cancer
Objective:To investigate the effects of Shenmai injection on immune function and fatigue scores in patients with postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy for colorectal cancer(CRC).Method:92 cases of CRC patients who underwent surgical treatment in Pution 95 Hospital from July 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into a control group and a treatment group according to the method of randomized number table, with 46 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery, and patients in the treatment group were treated with ginseng-mai injection on the basis of the control group.Tumor marker indexes, immune function indexes, fatigue score, sleep status and the occurrence of toxic side effects were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, patients in the treatment group had lower levels of glycoconjugate antigen 724(CA724),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),glycoconjugate antigen 199(CA199)and CD8+,and higher levels of CD4+and NK compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, patients in the treatment group had lower Piper Fatigue Revision Scale(PFS-R)scores and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of related toxic side effects in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with adjuvant chemotherapy treated with shenmai injection after CRC,it can reduce tumor marker levels, regulate immune function, improve fatigue and sleep, and also can reduce the occurrence of toxic side effects to a certain extent.
