Efficacy of Compound Glutamine Combined with Mesalazine in the Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis and Its Effects on Serum Il-6,Il-10 Levels and Platelet Parameters
Objective:To investigate the effect of compound glutamine combined with mesalazine in the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis(UC).Method:A total of 84 patients with UC were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 42 cases in each group. The two groups were treated with mesalazine and compound glutamine combined with mesalazine, respectively. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated. The Mayo score,Geboes score, serum inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-10(IL-10)]and platelet parameters[platelet count(PLT),platelet volume(MPV)]before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the adverse reactions were observed.Result:Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher(P<0.05).After treatment, compared with the control group, the Mayo score of the observation group was lower, and the Geboes index decreased(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum CRP,IL-6,IL-10 and PLT in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and MPV was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compound glutamine combined with mesalazine is effective in the treatment of UC patients, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, promote the healing of intestinal mucosa and reduce the inflammatory response.
