Effect of Compound Betamethasone Assisted Intra-articular Injection of Sodium Hyaluronate in the Treatment of Knee Synovitis
Objective:To explore the effect of compound betamethasone assisted intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of knee synovitis(KS).Method:According to the random number table method,87 KS patients admitted to Putian 95 Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were divided into a control group(n=44)and a study group(n=43).The control group received intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate, while the study group received adjuvant treatment with compound betamethasone. The efficacy, synovial thickness, joint cavity fluid accumulation, inflammatory response indicators and joint function were compared between two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the study group was 90.70%,which was higher than 70.45%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),synovial thickness and intra-articular fluid accumulation were lower than before treatment. The Lysholm knee joint function score was higher than before treatment, and the above indicators in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of KS patients using compound betamethasone assisted sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection has a good effect, reducing synovial thickness and joint effusion, alleviating inflammatory reactions, and improving joint function.
