Evaluation of the Application Effect of Levonorgestrel Intrauterine Contraceptive System Combined with Dane-35 after Hysteroscopic Resection of Endometrial Polyps
Objective:To evaluate the application effect of levonorgestrel intrauterine device(LNG-IUS)combined with Diane-35 in hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy(TCRP).Method:72 patients with endometrial polyps(EP)who underwent TCRP in the hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a single group and a combination group using a random stratification method, with 36 cases in each group. After TCRP,the two groups were given conventional drug treatment, the single group was treated with Diane-35 on this basis, and the combined group was treated with LNG-IUS combined with Diane-35.The levels of sex hormones, endometrial thickness, menstrual volume[menstrual bleeding chart(PBAC)],recurrence of EP and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of patients after 6 cycles of medication.Result:After 6 cycles of treatment,LH levels in both groups significantly increased compared with those before treatment, while FSH,Prog and E2 levels significantly decreased compared with those before treatment. The combined group showed more significant changes in all levels compared with the single group, there were significant differences. After 6 cycles of treatment, the endometrial thickness and PBAC score of both groups were significantly reduced compared with those before treatment, and the combined group had a more significant reduction than the single group. The incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group was higher than that in the single group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of LNG-IUS and Diane-35 can achieve good therapeutic effects after TCRP.It not only regulates the levels of sex hormones in EP patients, reduces endometrial thickness, but also promotes the return of menstrual flow to normal and reduces EP recurrence in patients. Its safety performance is good.
