The Effects of NRS2002 Combined with MUST to Evaluate Supplementary Individualized Nutritional Support on Nutritional Status and Complications in Patients with Lymphoma Chemotherapy
Objective:Analysis of Nutritional Risk Screening 2002(NRS2002)in conjunction with the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool(MUST)in cancer patients to evaluate the effects of supplemental individualized nutritional support on nutritional status and complications in patients undergoing lymphoma chemotherapy.Method:Sixty patients with lymphoma chemotherapy admitted to the hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected as study objects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a digital table method, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group received NRS2002 combined with MUST to evaluate auxiliary individualized nutrition support, while the control group received conventional nutrition support. The incidence of complications(indigestion, nausea and vomiting and high fever)was compared after intervention between the two groups, and the NRS 2002 and MUST scores, nutritional status[serum prealbumin(ALB),hemoglobin(Hb)and total protein(TP)]were analyzed before and after intervention between the two groups.Result:Before intervention, there was no statistically mo significant difference between the two groups in nutritional status,NRS2022 and MUST score(P>0.05).After intervention, the above indexs in the observation group were higer than those in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statiscally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combined evaluation of NRS2002 and MUST can improve nutritional status, reduce the score of NRS2002 and MUST,prevent nutritional risks, and help to reduce the incidence of complications after intervention compared with conventional management programs, which plays an important role in promoting physical rehabilitation and is worthy of popularization and application.
