Effect of Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy Combined with Intensive Self-Care on Fatigue Status and Self-Care Behavior of Hemodialysis Patients with Diabetes Nephropathy
Objective:To explore the effect of mindfulness cognitive therapy combined with intensive self-care on fatigue and self-care behavior of hemodialysis patients with diabetes nephropathy(DN).Method:A total of 125 DN hemodialysis patients admitted to Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2021 to February 2023 were randomly divided into:a control group of 62 cases and a study group of 63 cases. The control group received routine care, while the study group received mindfulness cognitive therapy combined with enhanced self care. The psychological status[Self rating anxiety and depression scale(SAS,SDS)],fatigue status[revised Pieper fatigue scale(PRFS)],self-care behavior[diabetes self-care behavior scale(SDSCA)]and quality of life[Kidney disease quality of life scale(KDQOL-SF)]of the two groups were compared.Result:The SAS and SDS scores of the post nursing study group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The PRFS scores in all dimensions in the post nursing study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The SDSCA scores in all dimensions in the post nursing study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The KDQOL-SF score in the post nursing study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Mindfulness cognitive therapy combined with enhanced self-care can improve the psychological state of DN hemodialysis patients, alleviate their fatigue, and improve their self-behavior and quality of life.
