Clinical Effect of Vitamin D Calcium Chewable Tablets Combined with rhGH in the Treatment of Growth Hormone Deficiency in Children
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Vitamin D Calcium Chewable Tablets combined with Recombinant Human Growth Hormone(rhGH)in the treatment of growth hormone deficiency(GHD)in children.Method:Seventy-two children with GHD who admitted to Shishi City Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected by objective sampling method,the patients were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was treated with rhGH,and the observation group was treated with Vitamin D Calcium Chewable Tablets combined with rhGH,the Vitamin D related indexes{25-hydroxyvitamin D3[25-(OH)D3],1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3(1,25-(OH)2D3]},physical related indexes[height standard deviation score(HtSDS),height growth rate,bone age],bone metabolism indexes[alkaline phosphatase(BAP),type Ⅰ collagen C terminal peptide(ⅠCTP),osteocalcin],thyroid function[free triiodothyronine(FT3),free tetraiodothyronine(FT4),thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)],growth factors[insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1),insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3(IGFBP-3)]and clinical effects were compared between two groups.Result:Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the Vitamin D related indexes,physical related indexes,bone metabolism indexes,thyroid function and growth factors between two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of 25-(OH)D3,1,25-(OH)2D3,BAP,ⅠCTP,osteocalcin,FT3,FT4,IGF-1,IGFBP-3,HtSDS,height growth rate and bone age in two groups were higher than those before treatment,the TSH levels were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were better than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 94.44%,which was higher than 77.78%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Vitamin D Calcium Chewable Tablets combined with rhGH has a definite clinical effect in the tratment of GHD in children,compared with rhGH alone,which can better improve the Vitamin D related indexes,physical related indexes,bone metabolism indexes,thyroid function and growth factors of children,and it can also effectively improve the therapeutic effect.
