Clinical Efficacy of Saphenous Nerve Block Combined with Sodium Hyaluronate Intra-articular Injection in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of saphenous nerve block combined with Sodium Hyaluronate intra-articular injection in patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Method:A total of 96 KOA patients admitted to Beijing Jishuitan Hospital Guizhou Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected and randomly divided into two groups with 48 patients. The control group received Sodium Hyaluronate intra-articular injection, and the observation group received saphenous nerve block on this basis. The treatment effects between the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, after one month of treatment, the visual analog scale(VAS)score,Western Ontario and McMaster University Arthritis Index(WOMAC)score were lower than those in the control group, while the Lysholm score and comprehensive quality of life questionnaire scores(GQOLI-74)in all dimensions were higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Saphenous nerve block combined with Sodium Hyaluronate intra-articular injection can relieve joint pain, reduce the degree of joint disease, help to restore knee function as soon as possible, and finally improve the quality of life.
