Effects of Family Nursing under the Gratitude Extension-construction Theory on Medication Compliance,Emotions of Primary Caregiver and Family Function of Children with Asthma
Objective:To explore the effects of family nursing under the gratitude extension-construction theory on medication compliance,emotions of primary caregiver and family function of children with asthma.Method:A total of 122 children with asthma admitted to Wuxi Children's Hospital from January 2020 to September 2023 were selected and they were divided into reference group with 61 cases and study group with 61 cases according to random number table method.The reference group received routine nursing,while the study group received family nursing under the gratitude extension-construction theory on the basis of the reference group.Both groups received continuous intervention for 3 months.The medication compliance of children with asthma,emotions of primary caregiver,family function and life quality of children were observed before and after intervention.Result:The medication compliance after intervention of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the medication compliance of the study group was higher than that of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the depression-anxiety-stress scale(DASS-21)after intervention were lower in the two groups than those before intervention,and the study group was lower than the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of family function device(FAD)after intervention were higher in both groups than those before intervention,and the study group was higher than the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of pediatric asthma quality of life questionnaire(PAQLQ)in the two groups were higher after intervention than those before intervention,and the study group was higher than the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Family nursing under the gratitude extension-construction theory can improve the medication compliance of children with asthma,reduce the negative emotions of primary caregivers,and improve the family function and life quality of children.
