Effect of Febuxostat Combined with Conventional Treatment in Patients with Non-end-stage Diabetic Nephropathy Complicated with Asymptomatic Hyperuricemia
Objective:To analyze the effect of Febuxostat combined with conventional treatment in patients with non-end-stage diabetic nephropathy(DS)complicated with asymptomatic hyperuricemia(HUA).Method:Fifty patients with non-end-stage DN complicated with asymptomatic HUA who admitted to the First People's Hospital of Qujing City from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into the control group(conventional treatment,n=26)and the study group(Febuxostat combined with conventional treatment,n=24)according to different treatment methods, two groups were treated for 6 months. The clinical efficacy, renal function and islet function of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);after 6 months of treatment, the levels of serum uric acid(UA),creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),urinary albumin creatinine ratio(ACR),fasting insulin(FINS),fasting blood glucose(FBG)and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower, the glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)in two groups were higher than those before treatment, and that in the study group was higher, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of Febuxostat combined with conventional treatment in patients with non-end-stage DN complicated with asymptomatic HUA is significant, which can help to improve renal function and islet function.
