Effect of Shexiang Tongxin Dropping Pills in the Treatment of Patients with Diabetes Complicated with Acute Myocardial Infarction
Objective:To explore the effect of Shexiang Tongxin Dropping Pills in the treatment of patients with diabetes complicated with acute myocardial infarction.Method:A total of 112 diabetic patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to Changde Dexing Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected.They were randomly divided into control group and observation group,56 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional treatment,and the observation group was given Shexiang Tongxin Dropping Pills on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,pro-angiogenic factors,cardiac function,glucose and lipid metabolism before and after treatment and safety of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.86%,which was higher than 78.57%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in both groups increased,platelet derived growth factor(PDGF)decreased,the observation group had higher levels of VEGF and bFGF than the control group,and lower level of PEDF than the control group,the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)increased,and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)decreased in both groups,LVEF in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and LVEDD and LVESD were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC)in both groups decreased,and FPG,HbA1c,TG and TC in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Shexiang Tongxin Dropping Pills has significant effect in the treatment of diabetes complicated with acute myocardial infarction.It can regulate the expression of angiogenic factors and glucose and lipid metabolism in patients,promote the recovery of cardiac function,and is relatively safe.
