Value of Applying Severe Early Warning Nursing to Children with Emergency Hand,Foot and Mouth Disease
Objective:To analyze the value of applying severe early warning nursing to children with emergency hand, foot and mouth disease.Method:A total of 200 children with hand, foot and mouth disease treated in the Emergency Department of Xiamen Children's Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected. They were randomly divided into study group and control group,100 cases in each group. The control group received routine emergency nursing, and the study group received early warning nursing for severe illness. The disappearance time of clinical symptoms, complications, medical condition severity, quality of life before and after nursing and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The disappearance time of fever, oral ulcer and hand and foot herpes in the study group was earlier than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complication of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the consciousness, cardiovascular system, respiratory rate and total score of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the scores of emotional function, physiological function, social function and role function in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of early warning nursing for severe illness in emergency children with hand, foot and mouth disease is helpful to shorten the time of disappearance of clinical symptoms, reduce pediatric early warning score(PEWS),reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve the quality of life of children.
