Effect of Misoprostol Combined with Calcium on Prevention and Treatment of Pregnant Women with Postpartum Hemorrhage
Objective:To explore the effect of Misoprostol combined with Calcium on prevention and treatment of pregnant women with postpartum hemorrhage.Method:A total of 123 pregnant women admitted to Jian'ou Municipal Hospital from March 2021 to January 2024 were selected as research samples. They were divided into control group(n=62)and observation group(n=61)according to random drawing method. The control group was given Oxytocin to prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage, and the observation group was given Misoprostol combined with Calcium to prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage.Postpartum hemorrhage condition, coagulation index, hemodynamic index, inflammatory factors before and after treatment, prevention and treatment effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The bleeding volume of the observation group at 2 h,12 h and 24 h postpartum was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 h of administration, fibrinogen(FIB)increased in both groups, prothrombin time(PT)and thrombin time(TT)decreased,FIB was higher in the observation group, and PT and TT were lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 h of administration, the resistance index(RI)and pulsatility index(PI)decreased in both groups, and the RI and PI of the observation group were lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 h of administration, the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),hypersensitive C response protein(hs-CRP),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were reduced in both groups, and the levels of IL-6,hs-CRP,and TNF-α were lower than the observation group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total response rate in the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The use of Misoprostol combined with Calcium has a significant effect on the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage in pregnant women, which can effectively reduce the risk of postpartum hemorrhage, reduce the level of inflammatory factors in the body, and promote patients to return to normal physiological function as soon as possible.
