Clinical Effect of Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Combined with Metal Titanium Clip in the Treatment of Intestinal Polyps
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)combined with metal titanium clip in the treatment of intestinal polyps.Method:A total of 55 patients with intestinal polyps treated with EMR combined with metal titanium clips admitted to the Gastroenterology Department of He County People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2024 were retrospectively selected as the observation group, while 55 patients with intestinal polyps treated only with EMR during the same period were selected as the control group.Operation time and intraoperative blood loss volume, postoperative delayed hemorrhage and postoperative blood loss volume, hemoglobin(Hb)before and after discharge, complications were compared between the two groups.Result:There was no significant difference in operation time and intraoperative bleeding volume between the two groups(P>0.05).The postoperative delayed bleeding rate and postoperative blood loss volume in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before discharge,Hb level in the control group was lower than that before operation, and Hb level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:EMR combined with metal titanium clip can reduce the incidence of postoperative delayed bleeding in patients with intestinal polyp, reduce the amount of bleeding, and have good clinical treatment efficacy and safety.
