Effect of Cangfu Daotan Decoction Combined with Western Medicine Treatment in Patients with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Objective:To investigate the effect of Cangfu Daotan decoction combined with Western medicine treatment in patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome.Method:80 patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were divided into two groups by the method of random number table, with 40 cases in each group. The cases of control group were treated with routine western medicine treatment for polycystic ovarian syndrome, while the cases of observation group were treated with Cangfu Daotan decoction on the treatment of control group. Then the total effective rates for polycystic ovarian syndrome, adverse reaction rates, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, reproductive hormones[follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteotropic hormone(LH),testosterone(T)and estradiol(E2)]and ovarian reserves indexes[anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)and number of follicles]before and after the treatment of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate for polycystic ovarian syndrome of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group, the adverse reaction rate was significantly lower than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, reproductive hormones and ovarian reserves indexes of two groups before the treatment were compared, the differences were not statistically significant(P<0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, reproductive hormones and ovarian reserves indexes of observation group 3rd month after the treatment were significantly lower than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cangfu Daotan decoction combined with Western medicine has a good effect in the treatment of patients with PCOS,and can significantly improve the reproductive hormone and ovarian reserve status of patients,so the application value in patients with PCOS is high.
