Expression of IL-6,IFN-γ and hs-CRP in Cervicitis and the Risk Factors
Objective:To investigate the expression of interleukin-6(IL-6),interferon gamma(IFN-γ)and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)in cervicitis, and analyze the risk factors of the disease.Method:A total of 100 patients with cervicitis who received gynecological treatment in Taiyuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from November 2021 to October 2023 were included in the observation group, and 100 female volunteers who underwent physical examination in the hospital during the same period were included in the control group.Their clinical information was collected, and IL-6,IFN-γ and hs-CRP were examined to compare the expression levels of the above indicators between the two groups. The risk factors of cervicitis were analyzed.Result:The levels of IL-6,IFN-γ and hs-CRP in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The age of observation group was≥50 years old,the place of residence was rural, the work nature of physical labor, the age of first sexual life was<18 years old,the number of pregnancies was≥2 times, the number of induced abortions was≥2 times, and the proportion of IUD placement was higher than that of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in education level and marital status between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the following factors were independent risk factors for cervicitis such as age≥50 years old, living in rural areas, engaging in manual labor, first sexual life age less than 18 years old,the number of pregnancies not less than 2,the number of induced abortions not less than 2,and the placement of Iuds, with statistically significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:IL-6,IFN-γ and hs-CRP are highly expressed in cervicitis and can be clinically used as the auxiliary diagnostic indicators. Many factors influence the occurrence of cervicitis such as the age, nature of work, sexual activity, frequency of pregnancy and childbirth, and use of intrauterine devices of patients.Clinical attention should be paid to high-risk populations and targeted preventive measures should be taken to ensure the health of women.
