Effect of Olanzapine Combined with Fluoxetine in the Treatment of Depression
Objective:To investigate the effect of olanzapine combined with fluoxetine in the treatment of depression and its influence on neurological function and depressive symptoms.Method:A total of 85 male patients with depression admitted to the Fifth Hospital of Yulin City from May 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into observation group(n=42)and control group(n=43)by random number table method.The control group was treated with fluoxetine,and the observation group was treated with olanzapine.The therapeutic effect,neurological function,depressive symptoms and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,the therapeutic effect of observation group was 95.35%,it was higher than 76.19%of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the score of the National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)decreased in both groups,and the observation group was lower than the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of HAMA and HAMD decreased in the two groups,and the observation group was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the adverse reaction rate of the observation group was 28.57%,which was lower than 57.14%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Olanzapine combined with fluoxetine in the treatment of depression patients can improve the therapeutic effect,improve the neurological function and depression symptoms,reduce adverse reactions.The clinical effect is significant.
