Clinical Effect of Valsartan Capsule Combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the Treatment of Hypertension of Phlegm-dampness Obstruction Type
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of valsartan capsule combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction in the treatment of hypertension of phlegm-dampness obstruction type.Method:From January 2022 to March 2023,100 patients with phlegm-dampness type hypertension admitted to Hekou District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Dongying City were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given valsartan capsules orally,and the experimental group was given valsartan capsules plus Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction orally.The differences in antihypertensive effect,blood pressure drop level,TCM syndrome degree evaluation and vascular endothelial function index level were compared between the two groups.Result:The experimental group was superior to the control group in antihypertensive effect,blood pressure decline,TCM phlegm-dampness syndrome score and curative effect,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of nitric oxide(NO)in the experimental group was significantly higher than that before treatment and the control group.The level of endothelin-1(ET-1)was significantly lower than that before treatment and the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Valsartan Capsules combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction has better antihypertensive effect than single use,and can significantly relieve the symptoms of hypertension patients with phlegm-dampness obstruction and improve vascular endothelial function.
