Effect of Different Pedicle Screw Fixation on Patients with Spinal Fracture
Objective:To observe the effect of different pedicle screw fixation on patients with spinal fracture.Method:A total of 80 patients with spinal fracture admitted to Quangang District Hospital in Quanzhou City from February 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the subjects and randomly assigned to the control group(n=40)and the study group(n=40).The control group was given open internal fixation, and the study group was given Sextant minimally invasive internal fixation. The clinical efficacy, surgery related indexes, spinal physiological indexes, inflammation indexes, oxidative stress indexes, dysfunction and pain degree were compared between the two groups.Result:The effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The surgical incision length, intraoperative blood loss and drainage volume in the study group were less than those in the control group, and the operation and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After surgical treatment,Cobb's Angle, sagittal plane index of vertebral body and anterior margin height of vertebral body were significantly improved in both groups, and the improvement in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).One week after surgical treatment, the expression levels of interleukin 6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in both groups were significantly decreased. The expression level of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and advanced oxidized protein products(AOPP)was significantly increased, and IL-6 and CRP levels in research group were lower than those in control group, while GSH-Px and AOPP levels were higher than those in control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 months after surgery,ODI and VAS scores of the two groups were significantly decreased, and the study group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with open internal fixation,Sextant minimally invasive internal fixation has a more significant therapeutic effect, which can shorten the operation time, control inflammation and oxidative stress indexes, reduce postoperative pain, and accelerate the recovery of patients.
