Research Progress on the Mechanism of Perioperative Neurocognitive Impairment Caused by Propofol
Among the more common post-anesthesia complications in surgical patients, the incidence of perioperative neurocognitive impairment is high, which has a direct impact on the postoperative quality of life of patients. So far,the cause and mechanism of perioperative neurocognitive impairment have not been unified and clear.Among them, propofol is a commonly used anesthetic drug for surgical patients, and many studies have shown that propofol can cause perioperative neurocognitive disorders in patients. This article integrates the research of many experts and scholars and the practice data of clinical medical staff, discusses the related mechanism of perioperative neurocognitive impairment caused by propofol, and forms a review for reference.
