Objective:To investigate the effect of Taohong Siwu Xiaofeng Powder combined with Sevelamer Carbonate in the treatment of uremic hemodialysis patients with pruritus.Method:A total of 86 uremic hemodialysis patients with pruritus who diagnosed and treated in Nanping People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into the study group(Taohong Siwu Xiaofeng Powder combined with Sevelamer Carbonate treatment)and the control group(Sevelamer Carbonate treatment)according to the envelope method,with 43 cases in each group.The pruritus(5-D pruritus scale),clinical efficacy,serum calcium and phosphorus levels,parathyroid hormone(PTH)levels and quality of life[concise health status scale(SF-36)]were compared between two groups.Result:After treatment,the scores of 5-D pruritus scale,serum phosphorus and PTH levels in two groups were decreased,the serum calcium levels and SF-36 scores in two groups were increased,and those in the study group were better than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Taohong Siwu Xiaofeng Powder combined with Sevelamer Carbonate in the treatment of uremic hemodialysis patients with pruritus can not only effectively relieve pruritus symptoms,optimize calcium and phosphorus metabolism indicators,reduce PTH levels,but also improve the quality of life,and provide an effective strategy for the comprehensive treatment of uremic hemodialysis patients with pruritus.
