Effect of Compound Ossotide Injection on Elderly Patients with Osteoporotic Thoracolumbar Compression Fracture
Objective:To investigate the effect of Compound Ossotide Injection on elderly patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar compression fracture.Method:A total of 82 elderly patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar compression fracture treated in People's Hospital of Yunmeng County from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected. They were divided into two groups according to random number table method,41 cases in each group. The control group was given Calcium Carbonate D3 Tablets and Alfacalcidol Soft Capsules after operation, and the observation group was given Compound Ossotide Injection on the basis of the control group.Bone metabolism indexes before and 1 month after operation, inflammatory factors and pain mediators before and 3 d after operation, fracture healing time, and lumbar function before and 3 months after operation were compared between the two groups.Result:One month after operation, the carboxyl terminal peptide of type I collagen Beta special sequence(β-CTX)in observation group was lower than that of control group, and the amino terminal propeptide of type Ⅰ procollagen(PⅠNP)was higher than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 3 d after operation,interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 3 d after operation, prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and substance P(SP)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 3 months after operation, the Oswestry disability index(ODI)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the fracture healing time was shorter than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compound Ossotide Injection is beneficial to alleviate pain and inflammation reaction in elderly patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar compression fractures, improve bone metabolism, and then facilitate the recovery of lumbar function after surgery of patients.
