Comparison the Effects of Holmium Laser Combined with FFU and DFU in the Treatment of Kidney Stones
Objective:To comparison the effects of holmium laser combined with fiber ureteroscope(FFU)and disposable flexible ureteroscope(DFU)in the treatment of kidney stones.Method:A total of 110 cases of kidney stones admitted to Xuzhou Mining Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected,and divided into an experimental group(55 cases)and a control group(55 cases)by random envelope method.The control group underwent holmium laser combined with FFU surgery,while the experimental group underwent holmium laser combined with DFU surgery.The clinical indicators,stone search success rate,stone related clearance rate,stress indicators,and safety were compared between the two groups.Result:There were no differences in the amount of intraoperative bleeding,hospitalization expenses,and hospitalization time between the two groups(P>0.05).The experimental group had shorter surgical operation time than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no difference in the success rate of stone exploration between the two groups(P>0.05).The stone clearance rate in the experimental group was 96.36%,which was higher than 85.45%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1 d after surgery,the stress indexes of both groups were increased,but the serum norepinephrine(NE),adrenocorticotrophin(ACTH)and cortisol(Cor)indexes of experimental group were lower than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications such as stone street formation,ureteral injury and hematuria in experimental group was 3.64%,which was lower than 14.55%in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of kidney stones,both holmium laser combined with FFU and DFU can achieve certain therapeutic effects.However,holmium laser combined with DFU has a higher stone clearance rate,shorter operation time,fewer stress reactions,and better safety.
