Effects of Sevoflurane Combined with Remifentanil Anesthesia on Cognitive Function and Stress Response in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Myomectomy for Uterine Fibroids
Objective:To explore the effects of Sevoflurane combined with Remifentanil anesthesia on cognitive function and stress response in patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy for uterine fibroids.Method:This study included 100 patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy for uterine fibroids at Shanghang County Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024.The patients were divided into two groups using a randomization method:odd numbers constituted the control group(n=50),and even numbers constituted the observation group(n=50).The control group received Propofol combined with Remifentanil anesthesia,while the observation group received Sevoflurane combined with Remifentanil anesthesia.The anesthesia effects,stress responses[cortisol(COR),noradrenaline(NA),epinephrine(A)]at different time points[10 minutes before anesthesia induction(T0),10 minutes after pneumoperitoneum(T1),and 10 minutes after surgery completion(T2)],cognitive function before and after surgery[mini-mental state examination(MMSE),trail making test(TMT)],and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The recovery time of spontaneous respiration,eye opening time and extubation time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,COR,NA and A levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at T1 and T2,after surgery,MMSE score of observation group was higher and TMT was shorter than control group,the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6%,which was lower than 20%in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sevoflurane combined with Remifentanil anesthesia in laparoscopic myomectomy for uterine fibroids effectively reduces intraoperative stress response,improves postoperative cognitive function,and has a lower incidence of adverse reactions,with high safety.
