Evaluation of the Therapeutic Effect of Modified Daochi Powder Combined with Thalidomide Tablets in the Treatment of Recurrent Aphthous Ulcers of Heart Spleen Heat Type
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Modified Daochi Powder combined with Thalidomide Tablets in the treatment of recurrent aphthous ulcers of heart spleen heat type.Method:In this study,88 patients with heart spleen heat type recurrent aphthous ulcers admitted to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Putuo Hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the main research subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups,44 patients in each group,with the control group received treatment with Thalidomide Tablets and the observation group received treatment with Modified Daochi Powder combined with Thalidomide Tablets.The interval time between attacks,total effective rate,ulcer recurrence rate,and inflammatory factor levels were analyzed and compared between the two groups.Result:The interval time between attacks in the observation group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group after 4 weeks of treatment was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The ulcer recurrence rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Combination therapy(Modified Daochi Powder,Thalidomide Tablets)can significantly improve the efficacy of recurrent aphthous ulcers in patients with heart spleen heat accumulation type.
