Safety and Efficacy of Single-port Laparoscopic Via Navel and Traditional Open High Ligation of Hernia Sac in Children with Inguinal Hernia
Objective:To explore the safety and efficacy of single-port laparoscopic via navel and traditional open high ligation of hernia sac in children with inguinal hernia.Method:A total of 1 200 children with inguinal hernia treated in Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Bijie Hospital from June 2018 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,600 cases in each group.Traditional open high ligation of hernia sac was performed in control group, while single-port laparoscopic via navel high ligation of hernia sac was performed in observation group. The perioperative indexes, the degree of pain before and 12 h,24 h,36 h and 48 h after surgery, complications and recurrence were compared between the two groups.Result:The operation time, incision length and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the intraoperative blood loss volume was less than that in the control group, and the gastrointestinal recovery time, getting out of bed time and anal exhaust time were significantly earlier than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the observation group at 12 h,24 h,36 h and 48 h after surgery were significantly lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications and recurrence rate in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adopting single-port laparoscopic via navel high ligation of hernia sac for the treatment of pediatric inguinal hernia has a more ideal surgical effect, effectively reduces postoperative pain, minimizes postoperative complications, with lower recurrence rate, definite therapeutic effect, and higher safety.
