Effect of Serum AMH on IVF/ICSI-ET Patients in the Early Follicular Stage with the Long Acting Regimen Ovulation Induction
Objective:To investigate the effect of effect of serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) on IVF/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)-ET patients in the early follicular stage with the long acting regimen ovulation induction.Method:A total of 740 patients with early follicular stage with a long acting regimen ovulation induction IVF/ICSI-ET who were admitted to Reproductive Medicine Center of Quanzhou Women's and Children's Hospital from January 2017 to December 2021 were retrospectively selected. All patients underwent a early follicular stage with a long acting regimen ovulation induction.General data of all patients were collected. The general data, embryo status, pregnancy outcome during fresh transfer cycle, cumulative pregnancy rate and live birth rate of the three groups were compared.Result:With the increase of AMH level, the proportion of primary infertility increased, and the basic follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level and age decreased, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).With the increase of AMH level, the level of estradiol (E2) and the number of follicles ≥14 mm on trigger day increased, and the activation amount of gonadotropins (Gn) and the total amount of Gn decreased, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).With the increase of AMH level, the average number of eggs obtained, the rate of blastocyst formation and the rate of available blastocyst formation were increased, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).With the decrease of AMH level, the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate of fresh transplantation cycle had a decrease trend, and the ectopic pregnancy rate had an increase trend, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).With the increase of AMH level, the cumulative pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate were increased, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:In the early follicular stage with the long acting regimen ovulation induction programme, high levels of AMH facilitate oocyte acquisition and blastocyst formation in the IVF/ICSI cycle, thereby increasing the cumulative pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate.
