Study on Influence of Cold-knife Resection by Hysteroscopy for Postoperative Adhesion and Endometrium of Patients with Endometrial Polyps
Objective:To investigate the influence of cold-knife resection by hysteroscopy for postoperative adhesion and endometrium of patients with endometrial polyps.Method:A total of 90 patients with endometrial polyps who admitted to Quanzhou Southeast Hospital from December 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with electrocision by hysteroscopy, the observation group was treated with cold-knife resection by hysteroscopy. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospitalization time, incidence of complications, incidence of postoperative intrauterine adhesions, pictorial blood loss assessment chart (PBAC) score, endometrial thickness, intrauterine adhesion index[serum tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 1 (TIMP1),transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1),connective tissue growth factor (CTGF)]and endometrial blood flow parameters[umbilical artery blood flow pulsation index (PI),arterial blood flow resistance index (RI)]score before and after operation were compared between two groups.Result:The operation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, the incidence of complications and the incidence of postoperative intrauterine adhesions were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the PBAC scores, endometrial thickness, intrauterine adhesion index and endometrial blood flow parameters of the observation group at 1 month and 3 months after operation were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Cold-knife resection by hysteroscopy can effectively reduce the incidence of complications and postoperative adhesions in patients with endometrial polyps, and has a relatively small impact on endometrium.
