Effect of Massage Combined with Azithromycin in the Treatment of Pediatric Pneumonia Cough and Its Impact on Symptom Relief Time
Objective:To analyze the effect of massage combined with Azithromycin in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia cough and its impact on symptom relief time.Method:A total of 70 children with pneumonia cough admitted to Qianxi People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected.They were randomly divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group received treatment with Azithromycin,while the observation group received additional pediatric massage treatment on the basis of Azithromycin treatment.The treatment effects of the two groups were compared.Result:The relief time of symptoms such as cough,sputum,fever,and lung rales in the observation group was (3.07±1.19) d,(3.04±1.15) d,(1.57±0.68) d,and (2.01±0.75) d,which were earlier than (5.12±1.48) d,(5.09±1.47) d,(3.98±1.02) d,and (4.06±1.09) d in the control group,the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.14%,which was higher than 80.00% in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of massage and Azithromycin has a significant effect on treating pediatric pneumonia cough,and can shorten the time for symptom relief in children.
