Relationship between the Expression of HER-2,Ki-67,PTEN and Clinical Features and Prognosis of Breast Cancer Patients
Objective:To explore the relationship between the expression of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2),Ki-67,phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten (PTEN) and clinical features and prognosis of breast cancer patients.Method:The clinical data of 85 patients with breast cancer admitted to the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from August 2019 to November 2020 were retrospectively collected.Breast cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of all patients were collected.Clinical features of all patients were collected. The positive rates of HER-2,Ki-67 and PTEN in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were compared in all patients. The positive rates of HER-2,Ki-67 and PTEN in cancer tissues of patients with different clinical characteristics were compared. The positive rates of HER-2,Ki-67 and PTEN were compared between survival group and death group.Result:The positive rates of HER-2 and Ki-67 in breast cancer tissues were higher than those in para-cancer tissues, and the positive rate of PTEN was lower than that in para-cancer tissues, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The positive rates of HER-2 and Ki-67 in cancer tissues with lymph node invasion and vascular invasion were higher than those in breast cancer tissues without lymph node invasion and vascular invasion, and the positive rate of PTEN was lower than that in breast cancer tissues without lymph node invasion and vascular invasion, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The positive rates of HER-2 and Ki-67 in survival group were lower than those in death group, and the positive rate of PTEN was higher than that in death group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The positive expression rate of HER-2 and Ki-67 is high in breast cancer tissues, while the positive expression rate of PTEN is low,and its expression level is closely related to lymph node invasion and vascular invasion. In addition, low expression of HER-2 and Ki-67 and high expression of PTEN may mean a higher survival rate.It may be used as an ideal prognostic marker for breast cancer and a target for future cancer treatment.
