Effect of Acupoint Penetration Acupuncture Combined with Meridian Moxibustion in the Treatment of Acute Cervical Headache
Objective:To explore the effect of acupoint penetration acupuncture combined with meridian moxibustion in the treatment of acute cervical headache.Method:A total of 80 patients with acute cervical headache admitted to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of Changzhou Fourth People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group and the study group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received medication treatment,while the study group received acupoint penetration acupuncture combined with meridian moxibustion treatment on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy after treatment,the degree of headache,neck mobility,inflammatory factors before and after treatment of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than 75.00%in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the visual analog scoring method(VAS)was lower than that in the control group,cervical joint mobility(CROM)scores was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),and interleukin-8(IL-8)in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint penetration acupuncture combined with meridian moxibustion has significant therapeutic effects on acute cervical headache,effectively relieving headaches,promoting the recovery of neck mobility,reducing inflammatory reactions.
