Intervention Effect of KAP Nursing Model in Patients with Colorectal Cancer and Its Influence on Knowledge Attitude and Practice Level
Objective:To explore the intervention effect of knowledge,attitude,practice(KAP)nursing model in patients with colorectal cancer and its influence on knowledge attitude and practice level.Method:A total of 158 patients with colorectal cancer who admitted to Wuxi People's Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from June 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects,the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method,with 79 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given KAP nursing mode.The recovery of gastrointestinal function,sleep quality,fatigue,anxiety,depression,self-efficacy,quality of life,review compliance and complications were compared between two groups.Result:The first exhaust time,eating time and bowel sound recovery time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention,the scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),Piper's fatigue scale(PFS),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)in two groups were lower than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the general perceived self-efficacy scale(GSES)scores and World Health Organization quality of life-brief(WHOQOL-BREF)scores of two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total review compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of KAP nursing model in patients with colorectal cancer can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function,improve the level of knowledge attitude and practice,improve negative emotions,improve self-efficacy and review compliance,and improve the quality of life.
