Effect of Negative Pressure Combined Urethroscope and Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy in the Treatment of Upper Ureteral Stones
Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of negative pressure combined urethroscope(NPCU)and percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL)in patients with upper ureteral stones.Method:The clinical data of 67 patients with upper ureteral stones in Xinhui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Jiangmen City from September 2017 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into NPCU group(n=44,used NPCU)and PCNL group(n=23,used PCNL).The surgical indicators, preoperative and postoperative renal function indicators, and perioperative complications between two groups of patients were compared.Result:The surgery time in the NPCU group was longer than that in the PCNL group, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay,one-time stone clearance rate in the NPCU group were better than those in the PCNL group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three days after surgery, the levels of blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and creatinine(Scr)in the NPCU group were lower than those in the PCNL group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant in total incidence of perioperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:NPCU and PCNL are both effective treatment methods for upper ureteral stones.Compared to PCNL,NPCU has a higher stone clearance rate, lower intraoperative bleeding, less impact on renal function, faster postoperative recovery, but longer surgical time, which can be selected when the patient meets the surgical conditions.
