Effect of Mechanical Vibration Sputum Drainage Combined with Bronchoscopic Alveolar Lavage in Children with Severe Pneumonia
Objective:To investigate the effect of mechanical vibration sputum drainage combined with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage in children with severe pneumonia.Method:A total of 104 children with severe pneumonia treated in the Second Hospital,University of South China from June 2021 to February 2023 were selected and divided into experimental group and reference group according to random number table method. The reference group was given routine nursing measures, and the experimental group was given mechanical vibration sputum drainage combined with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage intervention.Postoperative recovery index were compared between the two groups, blood gas analysis index were compared between the two groups before and after intervention to observe the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups.Result:The time of fever reduction, disappearance of pulmonary rashes, disappearance of cough and hospitalization in experimental group were significantly shorter than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the partial pressure of arterial blood oxygen and saturation of blood oxygen in the experimental group were higher than those in the reference group, and the fraction of carbon dioxide was lower than that in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group(5.77%)was significantly lower than that in control group(21.15%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.283,P=0.022).Conclusion:Mechanical vibration expectoration combined with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage can promote the recovery of children with severe pneumonia, shorten hospital stay, improve blood gas indexes, and reduce adverse reactions.
