Effect of Xiaobi Tongluo Powder Addition and Subtraction on Patients with Type 2 Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
Objective:To observe the effect of Xiaobi Tongluo Powder addition and subtraction on patients with type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Method:A total of 120 patients with type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy who were hospitalized in the Endocrinology Department of Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2023 were selected.According to the method of random number table,they were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 60 cases in each group.Both groups were given conventional treatment,the control group was given Mecobalamine Injection,and the observation group was given Xiaobi Tongluo Powder addition and subtraction on the basis of control group.The clinical efficacy,Chinese medicine syndrome score,electromyography index,inflammatory factors,vasoactive substances and hemorheology indicators before and after treatment of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 85.00%,which was higher than 61.67%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the Chinese medicine syndrome score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV)and motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)of the right peroneal nerve and median nerve were significantly increased in both groups,and the SNCV and MNCV of the right peroneal nerve and median nerve in the observation group were better than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were decreased in both groups,while the level of nitric oxide(NO)was increased,the levels of hs-CRP and TNF-α in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the level of NO was higher than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,whole blood high tangential viscosity,whole blood low tangential viscosity,plasma viscosity,fibrinogen and hematocrit in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The Xiaobi Tongluo Powder addition and subtraction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms,signs,hemorheology and electromyogram indexes,inflammatory factors and vasoactive substances of patients with simple type 2 diabetes peripheral neuropathy,and the therapeutic effect is significantly better than that of simple methylcobalamin intramuscular injection.
