Influence of Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Combined with Atomization on Curative Effect of Patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective:To explore the influence of Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam combined with atomization on curative effect of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Method:A total of 80 patients with AECOPD who diagnosed in Yancheng Third People's Hospital from November 2018 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects,the patients were divided into the combined group(n=40)and the conventional group(n=40)by simple random grouping.The conventional group was treated with Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam,and the combined group was treated with Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam combined with atomization,two groups were treated for 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy,lung function[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1)and FEV1/FVC],peripheral blood indexes[neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR)],blood gas indexes[blood oxygen saturation(SaO2),partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)and partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)]and adverse reactions during treatment were compared between two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the combined group was 92.50%,which was significantly higher than 75.00%of the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);after treatment,the FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,SaO2 and PaO2 in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the combined group were higher than the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);after treatment,the NLR,PLR and PaCO2 in two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the combined group were lower than the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the total incidence of adverse reactions during treatment in the combined group was 7.50%,compared with 12.50%in the conventional group,the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam combined with atomization can significantly improve the effect of AECOPD patients,improve lung function,reduce NLR and PLR levels,and maintain blood gas balance.
