Effect of Cefazolin Sodium on Postoperative Inflammatory Factors and Pain in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation Undergoing Surgery
Objective:To explore the effect of Cefazolin Sodium on postoperative inflammatory factors and pain levels in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)undergoing surgery.Method:Ninety LDH surgical patients admitted to Putian 95 Hospital from February 2022 to October 2023 were selected and they were randomly divided into two groups, with 45 patients in each group. The control group received Amoxicillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium, while the observation group received Cefazolin Sodium. The incidence of postoperative incision infection, inflammatory factors, pain level[visual analogue scale(VAS)],and adverse reactions between two groups were compared.Result:The incision infection rate in the observation group was slightly lower than that in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);Three days after surgery, both groups showed a decrease in C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-8,and VAS scores, which in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the adverse reactions rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Ceftazolin Sodium can alleviate inflammation and pain in patients undergoing LDH surgery, the occurrence of incision infections is not higher, and has the safety is good.
